Get Involved

Each day, the Collaborative assists families throughout our ward who are experiencing undue stress that puts their well-being and stability at risk, including the threat of homelessness.
We do this through crisis intervention, family-focused case management and linkage to critical resources.

Since our inception, hundreds of families have benefited from the numerous programs and services of the Collaborative.

Ways you can get involved...

Become a member of the Collaborative.  Members can: help us advocate for children and families, nominate and elect board members, apply for mini-grants, become program partners (organizational members) and more.

Facilitate a workshop.  If you have a skill or interest (resume writing, journaling, relaxation techniques, interviewing skills, etc.) that you would like to share with our parents, we would love to hear from you.

Open up your space.  If you have a meeting room or facility where we can host community meetings, workshops or trainings, please consider allowing us to utilize your space.

Make a donation today.  Your contribution will go a long way toward the many programs that help to keep children safe and families strong. Here are some ways your donation can help:

$3,000 will cover training materials and supplies for parent support group participants or provide matching funds for our capacity-building mini-grants focusing on youth and workforce development.

$1,500 will cover financial literacy classes for 10 teens for thirteen weeks.

$1,500 will cover the cost of printing and distribution of 2,000 community resource directories to residents.

$850 covers the cost of one parent volunteer to become certified as a Parent Educator.

$250 covers the cost of emergency food for a family of four.

$150 allows us to provide dinner and childcare for a family participating in a family team meeting.

$50 pays for 5 Metro SmarTrip© cards that will help a client travel to look for work or get to various social service appointments.

The Collaborative also welcomes in-kind donations of services or products such as
gift cards, school/office supplies, etc.

No matter the size of your donation, you can make a difference.
